A history of connecting kids with science

Our first Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) project – Mapping the Future of Bioengineering & Technology introduced GLSC visitors and students (grades 7-12) to advancements and innovations in biomedical technology through interactive exhibits and programming.

Our current SEPA project, BioMedTech: Students Translating and Exploring Medicine (BMT: STEM) builds on the successful exhibits and programming of our first project and explores a new content area – the research spectrum used to study linkages between diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.
